Deuter child carrier test center at the Tourist Information Füssen
Out into nature and into adventure! Is your child still small and not yet able to walk much on their own or is the terrain not suitable for baby carriages? In this case, you can borrow various models of Kinderkraxen free of charge from the Füssen Tourist Information Office.
Information on using the Kinderkraxen
A Kraxe from deuter is suitable for children who can already sit upright independently and control their head. This is usually the case from around 8 months. Deuter points out that most children up to around 3.5 years like to sit in a child carrier. Deuter carriers can be loaded with a weight of up to 22 kg (child up to 18 kg + luggage up to 4 kg).
On the deuter website you will find a detailed description of how to adjust the harness to your body and how to use it safely. It is important that you read deuter's safety instructions carefully in advance. Our staff and the deuter team will of course be happy to answer any questions you may have. Füssen Tourismus und Marketing accepts no liability.
The Kraxen can be borrowed free of charge from the Füssen Tourist Information Office during opening hours. There are three different models to choose from. The number of Kraxen is limited. A reservation is not absolutely necessary, but is recommended. Depending on your requirements, you can hire the Kraxe for 1 to a maximum of 3 days.
No, you can borrow the Kraxen free of charge by providing your personal details. Füssen Tourismus und Marketing and deuter are pleased to be able to offer this service together. The rental of the Kraxen is not only good for the environment but also easy on the wallet of guests who only need a Kraxe during their vacation stay.
Once your personal details have been recorded, you can take the Kraxe with you and return it to the Füssen Tourist Information Office on the agreed return date.
In order to continuously optimize the product quality of the Kraxen, it would be nice if you could leave a short feedback about the Kraxen model you have borrowed at the Tourist Information after the "Kraxen test". This feedback will be given anonymously and in writing upon return.
We would like to ask you to handle the Kraxen with care. So that as many families as possible can enjoy our deuter Kraxen for a long time, we would also like to ask you to check after use whether there are any personal items left in the pockets, whether the Kraxe has been left clean and whether it is complete (e.g. sun protection). The removable chin guard is cleaned after each use by Füssen Tourismus and Marketing to ensure hygiene.
