With the arrival of colder temperatures, the public Kneipp facilities in Füssen are closing for their annual winter break for the next few months.
To ensure that frost and snow don’t damage the facilities, the Füssen municipal maintenance department installs protective covers every year. However, anyone who doesn’t want to miss out on the Kneipp-style refreshment during this time can use the natural Kneipp facility in Mitterseepark, Bad Faulenbach, and the natural Kneipp pool at Alatsee. The next Kneipp season will traditionally begin again in mid-May with the official opening ceremony hosted by the Kneipp Verein Füssen e.V. on the Kneippwiese in Bad Faulenbach. Here, Kneipp enthusiasts can look forward to a new development starting in 2027: In the future, natural water from the Notburga healing spring will be used for the foot and arm pools. The new water supply for the Faulenbach Kneipp facility conserves precious drinking water and sets an example for climate-resilient urban development. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
