The Bavarian State Forestry Department is providing information about construction work affecting the local hiking trail network. Hiking enthusiasts are asked to take the following information into account:
- Almweg to the Jägerhütte:
Starting Tuesday, September 22, 2026, a demolition site will be set up along the Almweg leading to the Jägerhütte. The construction is expected to last until September 29, 2026. The trail will be open on weekends! Click here to view a map of the construction site.
- Älpeleweg:
Following the previous project, the Älpeleweg trail toward Hirschwies/Säuling will be repaired. Construction will also take approximately one week and is expectedto last until Tuesday,October 6, 2026 . It will not be possible to drive on Älpeleweg; hikers may pass after contacting the excavator operator. This trail will also be open on weekends! Click here to view a map of the construction work.
