Weekly market, markets and market hall
The weekly market in Füssen
The Füssen weekly market takes place every Thursday morning all year round in the Morisse parking lot (P3) on Kemptener Straße.
(Exception: if a public holiday falls on a Thursday, the weekly market takes place on Wednesday mornings).
From 8.00 am to 1.00 pm, local delicacies and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables can be purchased at the weekly market. Depending on the season, numerous traders round off the offer with asparagus, mushrooms or berries, for example. Food stalls also invite you to have a snack and linger.
Visitors and locals alike come here to enjoy the traditional market with its fresh produce.

The Füssen market hall
Brunnengasse leads into Schrannenplatz, where the town's grain market brought together citizens, farmers and traders in the Middle Ages. The late Gothic granary with the small clock tower on the south side of the square was built in 1483, as an inscription on the façade proclaims, and served as a grain store between market days. After the building had served as a fire station for decades and the emergency vehicles had "shaved" many a café chair on their way through the narrow streets of the old town, the fire department was housed elsewhere and a market hall was opened in the Gothic vaults on the first floor in 1998. Here you can shop, sample and stop for a bite to eat - the market stalls offer everything from organic baked goods to fresh fish and delicacies, from oriental delicacies to fruit and vegetables and wine specialties. The hall is a popular meeting place for guests and locals, especially on Saturdays.
